By using Aimee, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Aimee service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Aimee provides AI-powered expert guidance through a chat interface, including one-on-one conversations with specialized AI experts and group consultations. AI responses are generated by language models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on AI responses for professional advice — including medical, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions that could affect your health, safety, or finances.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any API keys you provide to the service. Do not share your API keys with anyone. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, harass, or threaten other users, experts, or Aimee staff.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or underlying models of the service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise systematically retrieve data from the service.
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including generating content that violates applicable law.

Rate limits apply to ensure fair access for all users. We may throttle or suspend access for accounts that exceed reasonable usage.

API Keys & Costs

When you provide your own LLM API keys, you are responsible for any costs incurred by their use, including costs from third-party providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, GLM, or xAI. Aimee does not reimburse API costs, and is not liable for charges resulting from compromised keys. Store your keys securely and rotate them if you suspect they have been exposed.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the conversations and content you create using Aimee. Aimee retains all rights to the service itself — including its software, design, expert personas, and branding. By using the service, you grant Aimee a limited license to process your conversations as needed to provide the service to you.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI guidance is not professional advice and should not be relied upon as such. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aimee and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of the service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account data at any time from Settings → Data Privacy. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes — for example, by email or an in-app notice — before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
